This event is sure to show you that no matter what type of lifestyle you live, you can find your fit in Laurel Crossing – here's what you have to look forward to...

    Green Spaces and Parks

The community was designed from the ground up to incorporate lots of open green space and beautifully landscaped walking trails. There are several parks located within the community as well as two ponds.

Nearby, there are lots of other options to enjoy the great outdoors, including the Ivor Dent Sports Park, Silver Berry Park, and the large Pollard Meadows Park.

    Schools

The community is home to the brand new Svend Hansen School that serves grades K-9. There are also plans to build another school just steps away from the community.

Currently, there are more than a dozen schools within a 10-minute drive of the neighbourhood, including both public and parochial facilities that offer classes in both English and French.

And thanks to the community's strategic location near the Anthony Henday and Whitemud Drive, commuting to institutions of higher education like the University of Alberta and MacEwan University takes just 20 minutes.

    Healthcare

Whether you're looking for a drop-in health care centre or a full-service hospital, Laurel Crossing offers residents a wide range of options.

Within a 10-minute drive or less, residents have access to a wide variety of healthcare facilities, including the top-rated hospitals and clinics in Edmonton.

    Commuting

Laurel Crossing is a carefully designed residential community with an innovative layout that minimizes the number of cars driving through the neighbourhood. Yet the neighbourhood is located adjacent to Anthony Henday Drive, Edmonton's "ring road," that allows quick access to any part of the big city.

The Edmonton Research and Development Park is only a five-minute drive from the community.

The community is also well served by public transportation with many bus routes connecting to destinations across the Greater Edmonton area.

    Dining

With its strategic location on the outskirts of southern Edmonton, Laurel Crossing offers its residents a wide gamut of different dining options.

Nearby to the community are many fast-food and casual dining options such as IHOP, Subway, and A&W. For more exotic fare, small bistros and restaurants serving Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Swiss, Vietnamese, and Indian food are also very close. And if you like coffee and tea, there are several boutique shops within a short distance.

No matter what your dietary preferences, Laurel Crossing is the ideal community for people who love good food.

    Shopping

Living in this neighbourhood makes it very easy to enjoy your shopping. Whether it's a quick run to the supermarket or finding specialty items like sports apparel, musical instruments, or boutique shops, everything is close to home in Laurel Crossing. There is a flourishing shopping center right across from the community.
