    Spruce Grove was first settled back in 1891 when families of French and Scottish heritage began expanding out from Edmonton. Originally a small settlement with a blacksmith shop, general store, and a Catholic Church, Spruce Grove has blossomed to become one of Alberta's loveliest communities, elegantly blending shops and businesses with green spaces, trails, and lovely homes.
